MEROVECH [power, heritage, continuity, structure]

_MEROVECH was created by developing the historic Byzantine weave into my own chainmail design

_I developed the construction to blur the boundaries between individual rows of the weave, transforming metal into a continuous, fluid structure with the qualities of a woven fabric

_the density of the links and the way they connect give the surface continuity and depth that change with light, movement, and time

_PLEASE NOTE: The price is for the collar necklace shown in the photos (approximately 35 cm long and weighing just under 300 g). If you would like to commission a collar necklace or bracelet of a different length or width, please contact me. Collars and bracelets in this weave are priced individually.

_the sample collar shown in the photos is three years old, has been worn, and bears a natural patina developed over several months

_production time for a collar of similar dimensions is 3–6 months
